Peter Frantz is a third generation artist currently living in Central Pennsylvania. He studied sculpture at the University of the Arts (Philadelphia), The Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford in CT, and the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture in Princeton. He attended the University of Notre Dame and Goddard College in Vermont, where he studied sculpture and glassblowing with William Happell.
Drawing on a lifelong passion for social commentary that he combines with organic forms; shapes and styles found throughout the countryside of his native Pennsylvania, he has continued a long period of combining glass and metals. His work has been transformed the past few years into more dynamic adaptations and used to tell stories, create social dialogue, and to utilize form to give voice to his thoughts on the human condition. He is represented by the Anderson Fine Art Gallery in St Simons Island, GA.
