Pat Dolan
My art reveals my love of manipulating colors,
shape/form, values, and textures to create
strong artistic design statements or highly evocative personalized images.
My strong link with
nature is often embodied in my work through the use of organic forms,
images, objects, and
subject matter.
Paradox fascinates me - the juxtaposition of opposites (i.e.:
dark/light; hard/soft; natural/man
-made). By bringing opposites into artistic balance, my work demonstrates both
the beauty of
and necessity for relational harmony between all opposites.
