ceramics. From their rich
history as architectural ornaments to their extraordinary potential for
art making, tiles
offer artists a fascinating new palette to enjoy. We will explore
patterned tiles with their

tiles as
multiples, we will develop a three-dimensional tile model from which to
cast a mold,
examining how a variety of clay bodies and surface finishes alters a
single tile design.

most of the materials you will need can be picked up at your local garden/building supply
store
for cheap. Think big and join an experimental class for a dance with a new
medium. Class will
cover basic armature building, formulas and structural additions,
casting and
finishing techniques.
