    "I am a realist. I paint for myself, the people who share my love of a certain spot on the road as they ride or walk by, and for those who could appreciate them should they stop for a moment. 
    Since I am happiest when out of doors, landscape paintings are created or conceived on site and inspiration is found through my observations in the woods and farmland of Central Pennsylvania, on the shores of the Maine coast or wherever I might be traveling."
