                                                     Cecilia Charlotte Ebitz

In my work I strive to illuminate the secret truths we all share. Embracing my own sense
of raw tactility, I play with materials, often without any concentrated aim, as a means of
exploring my relationship with the stories of my life. It is simple truths that I value—not the
particulars of an event, but the lasting sense of “happening.” The indistinct sensation of
having learned, having loved, having lost, or having healed—this is the shared human
experience. I received a BFA in sculpture from Penn State and continue to make and
 show work locally.
