Bus Trip to Philadelphia Art Museum
We are pleased to announce that we are planning a bus trip to
the Philadelphia
Art Museum on Saturday, March 24. We have chosen this date so
that we can enjoy
"Van Gogh Up Close", described on the
Museum's website as " 40 masterpieces
borrowed from collections around the world. This is the first exhibition
to explore the
reasons and means by which this impassioned artist made unusual changes to
his
painting style in the final years of his life."
We will travel by Fullington Bus, leaving State College at
6:00 am. The return trip
will leave from the Museum at 5:15 pm. A fee of $80. includes general
admission to
the Museum, a ticket for the Van Gogh Exhibition and transportation.
To make a reservation you may call the office (234-2740) and
give us your credit card
number or send a check to P.O. Box 811, Lemont, PA. 16851. We think this
will be a
popular trip so if you would like to join us don't delay in making a
reservation.
