Theme: "All That Glitters"

Entry Process and Fee
Participants must submit an entry form to Art Alliance of Central Pennsylvania, P.O. box 811, Lemont, PA 16851 ON OR BEFORE SATURDAY APRIL 12. THIS DEADLINE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.  Entry fee is $25 for one or two pieces. Youth 18 and under enter free. Each entry requires a brief written statement describing inspiration and adherence to theme, to be displayed with the piece.
Participation is open to all. Works must incorporate recycled materials and adhere to the theme All That Glitters. School classes and youth groups may enter group projects in the youth category.

 Receiving and Pick-up
Works must be delivered Thursday, April 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Art Center, 818 Pike Street, Lemont. All entries must be pre-registered, NO ON-SITE ENTRIES. Other times are available by appointment; please call 814/234-2740. Pick-up will be Sunday, April 20, 5 p.m.

 Extended Show
Those wishing to participate in an extended show
April 21-May 27 at the Centre County Solid Waste Authority, 253 Transfer Road (near Rockview, turn at Struble's) must indicate this on entry form. Entries must be taken to that location Monday, April 21 or by arrangement with show chairman Michael Dietz.

 Disclaimer
All reasonable care will be taken of entries but the Art Alliance is not responsible for loss or damage. Submission of work connotes acceptance of these terms. In case of large response, the chairmen reserve the right to limit submissions per person determined by space available.

 Sales
The Art Alliance will charge a 20% commission on sales.

 Reception
The opening reception will be held on Friday, April 18, 7-9 p.m. Awards ceremony at 8 p.m. Winners will be notified Friday afternoon to appear.

 Exhibit Hours
The exhibit will run Saturday, April 19, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 20 noon to 5 p.m. We need sitters during these times so please indicate availability on entry form.

 Judging
Helen Perilloux, whose work in blacksmithing has been shown at numerous galleries, will designate awards. She is V.P. of the Board of Touchstone Center for Crafts and a member of the Board of Directors of Fe Gallery, Pittsburgh.

 Popular Award
Visitors may cast a ballot for their favorite entry in the adult division. The artist whose work receives the most votes will be awarded $100.

Purchase Award
Joanne Shafer, Deputy Executive Director/Recycling Coordinator at Centre County Solid Waste Authority, will consider a purchase award again this year.
